The calculators are available from the Online Tools area of the Back Paddock Web App.  #### **Accessing the Online Ag Calculators** The Back Paddock Web App includes a range of online agricultural calculators covering soil management, fertiliser, nutrient management, sampling, water, plant tissue and livestock. The calculators are available from the **Online Tools** area of the Back Paddock Web App. #### **[![Calculator\_icon\_2](https://customerportal.backpaddock.com.au/hs-fs/hubfs/Calculator_icon_2.png?width=36&height=40&name=Calculator_icon_2.png)](https://webapp.backpaddock.com.au/Tips-%26-Tools) Online Tools:** Sign in to the [**Back Paddock Web App**](https://webapp.backpaddock.com.au) using your normal web account. Once logged in, if you are not taken directly to the **Tips & Tools** page, select **Tips & Tools** from the menu at the top right. Select a category from the menu to display the calculators available within it. When you have located the calculator you want to use, select **View Details** on its tile, then **View Calculator** to open the calculator. #### **Calculator categories** The available calculators are organised into the following categories: | Category | Available calculators | | --- | --- | | **Soil Constraints & Amendments** | LimeMate, LimeMate Multidepth, SodiCalc, CEC Calc, pH↓Mate --- | | **Recycled biosolids** | Kakplan Manure --- | | **Fertiliser Cost** | NutriCost, Stubble Nutrient Value --- | | **Nutrient Audit** | Farm Nutrient Balance, Crop Rotation Nutrient Audit --- | | **Nitrogen** | Ammonia Volatilisation Calculator, Rams Rule, N Pools – Cereal, N Pools – Canola, N Pools – Cotton --- | | **Phosphorus** | PRate – broadacre cropping, PRate (Colwell) – annual veges, PRate (Olsen) – annual veges, Capital + Replacement P Calculator – Broadacre Crops Nthn Vertosols, PRate – Pastures calculator --- | | **Sampling** | Fert Band Calc --- | | **Water** | Soil Water Converter, Water SAR --- | | **Plant Tissue** | Wheat PTA --- | | **Livestock** | GrazCalc – Cattle NRPW --- | **Example** To access **LimeMate**: 1. Open **Online Tools**. 2. Select **Soil Constraints & Amendments**. 3. Locate the **LimeMate** calculator. 4. Select **View Details**. 5. The LimeMate calculator will open and can then be used to perform the required calculation. The same process applies to the other calculators: choose the relevant category, locate the calculator and select **View Details**. #### **Finding the right calculator** The category menu can be used to quickly narrow down the available tools. For example, select **Nitrogen** for nitrogen-related calculators such as N Pools and the Ammonia Volatilisation Calculator, or select **Water** for the Soil Water Converter and Water SAR tools. #### **Access problems** If the **Online Tools** page or a calculator is not available after signing in, confirm that you are logged into the correct Back Paddock account and that your account has access to the required online tools.
