How do I change a Purchase Order in SoilMate?
Once saved, a Purchase Order in SoilMate is not editable, and must be either deleted and re-created, or escalated to Back Paddock Support.
After an order has been created in the SoilMate program or the Sampling App and saved (or sync'd for the App), this order number and selected laboratory become non-editable.
To update an incorrectly entered order, it can be simplest to simply delete the order and re-create it correctly, dependent on the number of samples involved. If this is your selected action, please ensure you have stored details for the barcode, associated trading name/farm/paddock, product code, depths and evaluation table before deleting the order. Once the order has been deleted, these associations are no longer visible.
If a large number of samples are involved or there are other complexities, please email the support team (support@backpaddock.com.au) with a copy of your Sample Information Form from SoilMate, or a screenshot of the existing order which shows trading name/farm/paddock etc, and confirm what the correct Purchase Order should be. The Support team can then engage the assistance of the technical team to update the details 'back end', this process is usually completed within 2 business days. If you are working with a corporate team, please also include a copy of the correct order from your Accounts system, this helps us ensure there are no delays when the samples are available.
