Opterra: Create tasks, crop establishment and/or application
Using the Opterra app to create tasks with a nominated status.
1. Creating Tasks
Tasks can be added to any paddock plan, allowing you to track operations such as crop establishment, applications, and more.
1.1 Navigating to Tasks

From the Home Screen of your device, open the Opterra app.

Tap into your Organisation from the drop-down menu.
- Tab the Farm tile.

Select your Farm.

Tap into your Paddock.

Open your Paddock Plan.
You are now in the correct place to create tasks.
1.2 Where to Create Tasks
You have two options:

Tap New Task in the centre bar if you have not yet created any tasks, or
-
Tap the Plus (+) button in the bottom-right corner.
1.3 Creating a Crop Establishment Task

Tap the Plus (+) button.

Choose Crop Establishment.

Select the Status:
-
Plan, or
-
Done
-

Select Timing, and scroll or type to find your selection, then tap Select.

In Date enter when it should be completed:

You may choose a generic month, or
-
A specific date
-
-
Adjust the Area if needed, then tap Next.
Adding Inputs

Tap Add Input.

Adjust to your input type, such as Seed.

Select or search for your Crop, then tap Select.

Enter your Rate.
-
Tap Done.
-
Add more details if needed, then tap Next.

Review your details and tap Done to confirm.
You have now created a Crop Establishment Task.
1.4 Creating an Application Task

Tap the Plus (+) button from the paddock plan screen.

Select Application.
-
Choose Timing, scroll or search to select, and tap Select.

Adjust the Date and Area, then tap Next.
Adding Inputs

Tap Add Input.
-
Select your required input type such as the Soil Input icon for a fertiliser.

Scroll or use the search bar to find your product (e.g., "Urea").

Tap your chosen product, then tap Select.

Enter your Rate, Unit, and Cost.

Tap Done.
-
Tap Next, review your details, and tap Done to confirm.
You have now successfully created both a Crop Establishment Task and an Application Task.
