Where should I update my maps?

Mapping is included in our Adviser and Manager suites and can be viewed or edited in Web App, Back Paddock Mobile and on the desktop program. Where is best?

Your farm maps can be created and edited in all 3 components of your Adviser or Manager suite, but where is best? My personal recommendation is that maps be imported, created or edited in Web App before being pushed across to your other devices.

Web App is a satellite based mapping engine available online, designed to meeting your Mapping needs. The large + in the bottom right displays the tools to import your boundaries from external sources, or export your mapping files as required. Sync is instant on this site, which allows you to push any updates across to the Adviser or Manager programs after completion.

My suggested process is:

  1. Log out of your client file on the Adviser / Manager program and Back Paddock Mobile (return to the home screen)
  2. Log in to Web App with your email and password
  3. Create or edit your maps, our YouTube guides can assist here, continue when you have finished your changes
  4. Click the large + in the bottom right, Import/Export, BPAM, Export to BPAM. Allow this to complete
  5. Wait 2 minutes! 
  6. Open Adviser / Manager, open your file. Your file structure and/or maps should be updated. Close your file when ready
  7. Open your file on Back Paddock Mobile by touching Farm Management, your file name and Done. Check your Maps or file structure, they should be updated
